Laura teaches in the Critical Studies and Continuing Education departments at the University of the Arts while pursuing a PhD in English at Temple University. She is currently using digital methods to analyze 19th and 20th century American etiquette books, tracking the "well-behaved woman" as she evolved through the birth of a new middle class.
