David Spolum was born in Colorado. He teaches critical studies, art history, film studies, mythology & other arcane subjects, including a course on the Quay Brothers, at the University of the Arts & Pennsylvania College of Art & Design. If reading is considered necromancy, he divides his time equally between the living & the dead. In 2011, he collaborated with the Mütter and the world renowned Quay Brothers to co-author the documentary: “THROUGH THE WEEPING GLASS.” He is currently writing “Homeric Shrapnel” a gonzoid epic illuminating the end of the Trojan War.
