Creative Writing (BFA)

Sawyer Lovett is a writer living in Philadelphia whose work has appeared in Apiary, Cleaver and Hoax.

Biography
Sawyer Lovett has been writing zines, comics, stories and poems since he was a teenage girl. He holds a BA in English from American Public University and an MFA in Creative Writing from Rosemont College, Pennsylvania. 

Experience
Lovett is organizer of Philadelphia Queer Zine Fest and Philadelphia Feminist Zine Fest, and his work with the Wooden Shoe and Big Blue Marble Bookstore—both in Philadelphia—have informed the punk rock DIY ethos of his work. 

His long-running zine, Tazewell’s Favorite Eccentric, was anthologized by Mend My Dress Press in 2016. He is currently represented by Andrea Morrison at Writers House.
