Lilach Orenstein is an Israeli performer, choreographer and producer, best known for combining diverse types of arts from multiple disciplines into beautiful synergies in her works. She believes that art has an emergence property. Lilach's works "Dancing from Others", "Reject, Receive, React", "Territorium", "White on White", "Cēnsēre" and "Onions" were premiered in Israel's main stages and abroad. Lilach began dancing at the age of three. She graduated from one of leading dance tracks in Israel, the Aharon Katzir's High School. Her professional training extended in Kolben Dance Troupe, Matte Asher, Vertigo and Batsheva's workshops and excellence projects. In 2010–2012 she was awarded the status of outstanding dancer in the IDF and afterwards continued as an intern in the Kamea dance troupe. In 2015 she won an excellence prize for outstanding contribution to the community from the Jerusalem Foundation. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Dance from The Academy of Music and Dance in Jerusalem, majoring in choreography in 2017. During 2014-2018 Lilach was MASH production manager. She produced more than 100 productions in 6 countries including The Jerusalem Dance Week, NanoArt and MASH Dance Berlin. Furthermore, she also worked as a stage and rehearsal manager for the Jerusalem Theatre, JAMD, MASH and independent entities.
