BFA '12

Caitlin Cantrell, originally from Baltimore, MD, began her training under the instruction of Ashley Canterna-Hardy and Mary Moran at the Edna Lee Dance Studio. She continued her training during the summers at the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington DC and the MET Dance Company in Houston. She went on to complete her BFA in Dance Education, with a focus in Ballet, from The University of the Arts. During her time at UArts, she had the great privilege to work with teachers and choreographers such as, Andrew Pap, Eva Szado, Scott Jovovich, Brian Sanders, and many more. After graduation, Caitlin performed with Abarukas Contemporary Dance Company, and Michael Susten & Company. She had the chance to perform at Peridance, Manhattan Movement Arts, and the beautiful Jacob’s Pillow. Caitlin has since pursued a career in teaching and has had the chance to teach all over the Maryland, Pennsylvania and New York areas.
