Keunho Peter Park
Keunho Peter Park is an international (South Korea) artist who works with animation, sound and sculptural materials to create 3D animated forms, functional objects, furniture and musical instruments inspired by his personal experience and love of music and form.
He earned his Masters at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Woodworking and Furniture Design in 2013 and his Bachelor's degree in Painting at Kookmin University’s Fine Arts program in Korea, in 2007.
He has taught workshops about free-form woodcarving and musical instrument making at the Society of Contemporary Craft and Peters Valley.
He's received recognition from the Chung-Ju International Craft Biennale, was the recipient of an Emerging Artist Award at the Philadelphia Invitational Furniture show, won a Wharton Esherick Award at the PMA Craft show in 2015 and exhibited work at the Center for Art in Wood in 2016.
Keunho currently lives in Philadelphia.
