Yve Laris Cohen’s work has been featured in solo exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art, New York, in 2022, and the Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego, in 2018. He has performed and exhibited at numerous institutions, including Performance Space, The Kitchen and Danspace Project, the Sculpture Center and Abrons Art Center, all in New York; The Hessel Museum of Contemporary Art at Bard College, Annandale-on-Hudson, New York; and Institute of Contemporary Art, Philadelphia. He was also included in the 2014 Whitney Biennial and Performa 2019.

Laris Cohen was born in 1985 in San Diego and currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. He graduated with a BA in Art Practice and Dance and Performance Studies from University of California, Berkeley, and an MFA in Visual Arts from Columbia University. His work is included in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art.
