Isaac Byrne is an actor, a director, and a playwright.

Biography

Isaac Byrne is an award-winning director (see Awards & Accolades, below) whose New York City credits include Other Mozart (New York Innovative Theatre Award [NYIT] for Outstanding Solo Performance), In Vestments (NYIT for Outstanding Premiere of a New Play), To Nineveh (NYIT for Outstanding Production), Tar Baby (DR2 Theatre, PS 122), 52 Man Pick Up (Ars Nova, Edinburgh Fringe), AMP (NYIT nomination for Outstanding Performance Art), I Used to Write on Walls, and Rusalka

He has taught acting at Texas State University, the New York Film Academy, and currently, at the Matthew Corozine Studio and AZAA. Additionally, Byrne is the co-artistic director of Theatre for the People. He is also a playwright whose work has been presented by MCS; Fusion Theater, Albuquerque, New Mexico; and the Weekend of New Work in Phoenix.
