Why did you decide to become a FYG?
I decided to become a FYG because I love the idea of being able to help new students find their places in our community. I met my best friends here and I'd love to foster a space for that to happen within the groups we help lead!
What's your favorite part about the UArts community?
The fact that there's someone for everyone here. I really value the diversity within the tight-knit community at UArts, and I'd like to help make it as welcoming as possible.
Why should new students attend New Student Orientation?
NSO made everything so much more familiar and exciting for me as a first-year student. It's a space for curiosity, socialization and honesty about the UArts experience, which I think is so comforting for new students.
