Why did you decide to become a FYG?
I love being a FYG because you get to be the bridge between the different years of school and I can help people make meaningful connections!
What's your favorite thing about UArts?
I think what I love about UArts is the community. We're a small school so I have friends across all ages, majors and backgrounds.
What makes you excited about New Student Orientation?
I'm excited to meet new people again!
What advice would you give to new students before they get to campus for their first semester at UArts?
Watch your favorite artist in your field doing their work. This could be a movie, a dance, an interview about their painting, anything. It's a good reminder of the passion that you have in your field and it gets you excited to do the work!
