Music Education (MM)

Ardith Collins teaches Orchestra and General Music at Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School in New York City and is an adjunct professor at Montclair State University, New Jersey.

Biography

Ardith Collins earned her certificate in Orff Schulwerk from Villanova/University of the Arts; a Kodály certificate from Westminster Choir College, Princeton, New Jersey; and Dalcroze training from Anderson University, South Carolina. Collins is also an active writer, presenter and American Orff Schulwerk Association (AOS) teacher trainer and serves on the AOSA Reverberations Editorial Board and the Curriculum Oversight and Review Subcommittee and is past president of the Northern New Jersey Orff Schulwerk Association. She is pursuing her EdD in Educational Leadership and is a folk music, dance, rounds singing and ping pong enthusiast.
