The President's Fund for Excellence
The President’s Fund for Excellence was established by President David Yager in 2016. The fund was inspired by the Arts Dean’s Fund for Excellence at the University of California, Santa Cruz, which President Yager created in 2011 while serving in that role.
The fund supports extraordinary faculty and student project opportunities that would otherwise not be financially possible. The President’s Fund for Excellence is entirely funded by the generous support of our donors and can support travel, research, publication, and other creative projects that foster excellence and innovation.
University of the Arts faculty members may apply for funds in support of creative or research project that they deem to be of the highest caliber, and that will give back in some way to the University community. This opportunity is extended to all full-time and part-time faculty members.
University of the Arts students are given the opportunity to apply for funding of high-quality extracurricular projects, including but not limited to scholarships, exhibitions, internships, conferences, performances, residencies, and publications. Both undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to apply.
You will be required to log in with a valid UArts account and password to access the Office of the President Portal Page.
