Ron Kustrup

Ron teaches art at West Philadelphia High School and is a co-founder of The KIND Institute, a non-profit delivering innovative art and humane education programs to underprivileged youth in Philadelphia. Ron is an internationally recognized artist and, as a resident artist at KIND, donates all proceeds from the sales of his artwork to help support KIND operations and scholarships for deserving students.

Ron is a recipient of The McCahill Award for Creativity in Teaching and is an accomplished artist with international showings in Bulgaria, China, Japan, Portugal, Scotland, as well as throughout South America.
