Fern Morehouse

Hi, I’m Fern (he/they)! I’m a rising junior musical theatre major with an MBET minor. I’m from Maple Glen, PA, about 40 minutes north of Philly! I like to write songs, poetry, personal essays, and I’m working on a stage play! I roller skate, read avidly, doodle occasionally, and play lots of DnD, Minecraft, Stardew Valley, Spiritfarer, Zelda, and Undertale. I’ve been doing theatre since I was 8, and have loved watching theatre for as long as I can remember! I’m also currently teaching myself guitar on my beautiful guitar named Marianne (she’s super cool and wonderful and I’m in the process of decorating her case with stickers). My best advice for incoming first year students would be to trust yourself and your instincts! If your body is telling you that you need a break, take a break and take care of yourself. Stay true to yourself and your needs as an artist and a student, and remember it’s okay to ask for help!!! We’re all here to help and we all want to see each other succeed here. :)
