Transfer Nights

Transfer Night is a monthly information session specifically designed with transfer students in mind.

Dates for the fall and spring semesters include:

  • Thursday, November 3, 2016 | 6-8pm
  • Wednesday, December 7, 2016 | 6-8pm
  • Wednesday, February 1, 2017 | 6-8pm
  • Thursday, March 2, 2017 | 6-8pm
  • Wednesday, April 19, 2017 | 6-8pm
  • Thursday, June 1, 2017 | 6-8pm

Why attend a Transfer Night?

We understand that transfer students have different schedules, questions, and experiences than a first-year student coming from high school. Attending a Transfer Night at UArts provides the opportunity to ask questions and gather information that is specific to transfer students. Learn more about our programs and tour campus with current transfer students. Bring a copy of your college transcripts and you’ll receive a preliminary transfer credit advisement by an admissions counselor.

What can I expect?

  • Tour our campus in downtown Philadelphia, located on the Avenue of the Arts
  • Learn about the transfer admissions process, scholarships and financial aid
  • Receive a preliminary transfer evaluation of the college credit you’ve completed thus far

What should I bring to Transfer Night?

  1. Bring transcripts from each college or university you’ve attended if you would like transfer placement advisement (Unofficial or student copies are sufficient; official copies will be needed once you’ve applied).
  2. Questions: What types of scholarships are available? Am I eligible for financial aid? What is your student:teacher ratio? Transfer students have specific questions that we are here to answer.
