Veronica graduated from Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research in 2020 and trained as a Counseling intern at the UArts Counseling Center in 2019-2020. She gained the ability and intuition to understand complex individuals from her extensive experience working with underserved populations, and from being a member of such populations. She understands that the process of acculturation can generate distancing and conflict between self and others, which compelled her to train in systems theory and work as a Family Therapist where she honed her skills in Adolescent Therapy, Crisis Intervention, Intimate Partner Violence Intervention, and Trauma Therapy. In her work, she applies interdisciplinary collaborations mainly between IFS (Internal Family Systems), CI (Compassionate Inquiry) and RLT (Relational Life Therapy). She is passionate about relational work and is currently on a path to certification in Couples Therapy.
