Kevin Blanke

Kevin is the perfect representative of the percussion department. He's an amazing drummer and has been a part of the award-winning and nationally acclaimed “Z” Band for the past two years. While in high school, Kevin participated in the Pre-College Summer Music Program for two years. This served as a great bridge for him to see all that UArts has to offer. Kevin is now enrolled in the music education minor program. He appreciates that he is still able to perform while also building a solid foundation in education. Kevin has his sights set on a master's degree in teaching in music education through UArts' 5-year BM/MAT program, which will allow him to graduate with an MAT degree by studying for only one additional year after receiving his BM in music performance.
