Dominican Republic native, Edward says the most amazing thing about being a music performance major at UArts is having the opportunity to take private lessons and classes with some of the most talented musicians in the field. Edwards points out that Philadelphia is a culturally rich city where many people from different backgrounds come together to share their passion for art, education and entertainment. He also notes that he’s able to further reinforce what he learns in the classroom by getting hands-on experience through performing with one of UArts’ 30 ensembles.
