Graduate Cost of Attendance

To assist students and families in understanding what it costs to attend, we have outlined both direct and estimated costs that students can expect to pay for their first year. If the student is receiving a scholarship or financial aid, it is applied evenly across the two terms in the academic year typically, except for the MFA Studio Arts Low-Residency program which has a detailed explanation in the budgets below.

Graduate Fall + Spring Budget

The budget listed below is used to determine the need of a graduate student living off-campus. Review the additional drop downs for additional charges and information. Your actual costs will depend on a number of factors including your housing, program, and individual expenses.

Studio Arts Low-Residency MFA

The budget listed below is used to determine the need of a graduate Studio Arts Low-Residency student living off-campus for their first year. Students in this program with scholarships receive all of their scholarship eligibility in the Summer semester when their costs are the highest. Eligible students who borrow loans have these loans split so that they receive 50% in the summer, 25% in the fall, and the remaining 25% in the spring semesters. Review the additional drop downs for additional charges and information. Your actual costs will depend on a number of factors including your housing, program, and individual expenses.
