Don't worry about appealing to everyone. Make the work you love to make and your audience will find you.

John DiMauro, aka Yaster Goodman, enjoys working in urban fantasy, post-apocalypse, and body horror. He has always had a special love for film and animation and having grown up in the digital age with a fascination for the pre-internet and early internet days, his work seeks to capture a sense of nostalgia and humor amid grotesque imagery in alternate-history 20th century settings.

John was one of three finalists for the Society of Illustrators’ 2019 Will Eisner Scholarship. In 2017, his work was printed in The Thing: Artbook, a tribute to John Carpenter’s The Thing celebrating the 35th anniversary of its release.
