Tony Guido is a hybrid practicing industrial designer and design educator focused on transformative products, services, and systems. Tony began his dual career in design education and industrial design practice working in Europe, the US, and Japan for several large companies, start-up ventures, and universities. Tony has created and led industrial design studios and academic departments on the east and west coasts of the US. His design work has been published in design journals worldwide as the recipient of national and international awards for design excellence.

As an educator, Tony works collaboratively with students, faculty and local communities on creative, human-centered design tools and methods for learning how to learn in a rapidly changing world. As a regenerative industrial designer, he focuses on optimizing design for society, the environment, and business. Tony provides strategic industrial design services for businesses of all scales locally and internationally. Tony has realized that whole systems strategic sustainable development is a core value of his career and life. Tony can be found working at id:tg, a whole systems design + development agency and with Urban Permaculture Lab LLC - a new regenerative design firm in Philadelphia.
