After doing ‘Young Frankenstein’ 165 times across the country, the audience's response is really the lifeblood of our performance. Hearing that first laugh each night and hearing the joy that we can bring reminds us night after night of why we do what we do.
Rory Donovan’s career since graduating from UArts has been impressive by any standard, and it got a fast start. He was cast as The Monster in the national tour of Mel Brooks’ Broadway smash musical “Young Frankenstein” right after his senior showcase at UArts.
"After my senior showcase, an individual from ‘Young Frankenstein’ invited me to audition," he says. "I did and was cast. " And he says he loved every minute of the experience.
His Broadway credits include “Finding Neverland” and “Elf, The Musical.”
And he’s performed in “The Who’s ‘Tommy’” and “Oklahoma” at the renowned Berkshire Theater Festival.
