The President's Office Gallery is the newest venue on campus, established in 2013. The intimate gallery space has presented a diverse roster of student, faculty and alumni work, and eclectic curated exhibits. The gallery has hosted exhibitions of mythology-centered ceramic animals, politically allegorical oil paintings, a survey of metalsmith work, and paintings based on iconic films and their interpretation. A survey of figurative painting and sculpture identified major works by UArts faculty and alumni, past and present, and an alum’s photographs were mind teasers built of constructed illusionist plays of space. The always-changing gallery is a surprising and engaging location for students and outside visitors.
