Alexis Apfelbaum received an MFA in Creative Writing from Rutgers University--Camden in 2012. Focusing on creative and innovative curriculum, Apfelbaum seeks to generate class discussion and assignments geared around themes of memory, the artist’s eye, liminality, and joy. In her own fiction and in the classroom, Apfelbaum is most interested in exploring how language works and how we can all discover, create, and sell own truth. Alexis has short story publications in The Global City Review, Blackbird, and Slush.
