Cameron Rogers got his first role at a record label as a social media PR intern with Ropeadope Records while in college. In addition to his time at the label, Cameron also freelanced as a local drummer, providing music direction to up-and-coming artists.

He is now digital marketing and strategy specialist for Roc Nation, Jay-Z’s entertainment agency. Cameron breaks developing artists, while also supporting the continuous growth of the industry’s biggest stars. His artist roster includes Maeta, Willow Smith, Ambré, Tomi Thomas and several other acts. He aims to continue helping artists around the world release their music to the masses.

In the early stages of my career, UArts helped me discover what I was passionate about outside being an instrumentalist. My first internship at a record label, which I received via a UArts alum, allowed me to use that experience to launch my career as a marketing manager. Without the connections that I made during my time at UArts, I may not have found my true calling.
