Graphic Design (BFA)

Hailing from Northeast Philadelphia, Amen is a first generation Sudani American. He started at UArts as an Illustration major but switched to Graphic Design to pursue a career path that would lead him to a creative director position. With a keen eye for the importance of type and the power of images, along with a persuasive way with words, Amen’s work is infused with a sly sense of humor that draws a viewer in. During his senior year, he interned at the Type Directors Club. He is a recipient of the Brownstein Scholarship in Commercial Art, which is awarded to students demonstrating talent in design for the advertising profession.
