Theater - Acting (BFA)

Frank Jimenez has recently had roles at the Arden Theater and Teatro Del Sol in Philadelphia.

I have collaborated with numerous students and created a bunch of projects. I now own a production company called The Five Sands and we’ve done quite a few short films.

I believe that even thru nothing, we can create anything.

My first stage production here at UArts, I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Barrymore award-winner Matt Pfeiffer, as he directed a show called “Pocatello”. It truly became a life changing experience for me as an actor.

While being at UArts, I have collaborated with numerous students and created a bunch of projects. I now own a production company called The Five Sands and we’ve done quite a few short films.

I grew up in a very small Hispanic town where the dramatic arts is not something highly recognized. A lot of Hispanic parents go through dangerous tasks to get into this country to provide a better life for their children. So most parents want their children to have a career that guarantees stability and money. However, even then, I knew that this is what I wanted to do with my life and so I broke free from stereotypical obligations and pursued my passion as an actor. It’s been the best decision that I’ve made in my life and because of it I’ve gotten all the support from my town and my family.
