You’ll never truly find yourself unless you take a walk outside of your comfort zone.

Brianna Benozich is a writer, comedian, and filmmaker. As a senior, Brianna was an intern with National Lampoon while writing comedy on the side. Her comedic essay, “Peeking Out of the Closet” was published in queerbook, a local collection of essays published by the famous Giovanni’s Room. She soon discovered experimental short filmmaking and used that as a way to get out of her comfort zone. Through her connections from the school’s film screenings, she was able to meet like-minded directors who helped inspire her love for the art of film. Now, her experimental short film, “Close Calls”, is playing alongside the documentary Lydia Lunch: The War is Never Over by acclaimed No Wave director, Beth B. The films are set to premiere at the PhilaMOCA and at the Lausanne Underground Film Festival in Switzerland. While Brianna’s film is being screened, she is writing articles with Hollywood Insider while performing stand up comedy at local clubs and events.
