Product Design (BFA)

Anthony Guido is a practicing industrial designer and a design educator who focuses on  transformative products, services and systems. He works in the development of creative, human-centered design tools and methods for learning how to learn in a rapidly changing world. He began his hybrid career in industrial design practice working in Europe, the U.S. and Japan for several large companies, startup ventures and universities. His design work has been published in several design journals worldwide, and he is the recipient of national and international awards for design excellence. 

Guido is a founding partner and co-director of grow-design, a sustainable-to-restorative industrial design firm with offices in Philadelphia and Los Angeles. The firm’s recent clients include Clean Agency, Dansko Footwear, Elemental Herbs Cosmetics, Emilcott Environmental Health + Safety, i2i Innovations, Mattel, Philadelphia Urban Green Partnership, Rittenhouse Sports Specialties, and SimpleHuman Domestic Housewares,, . Additionally, he served as an executive board member of the Lemon Ridge Community Garden, where design is being used to transform the Philadelphia urban environment through green space and education.
