Lori Schwartz Reichl is an author, educator and consultant who strives daily to “make key changes” in education. Her diverse experiences of building and maintaining secondary band programs in rural, Title I and corrective action schools have transformed her career into serving as an active adjudicator, clinician, guest conductor, collegiate instructor and speaker. She has been interviewed for various podcasts and webinars, presented for numerous national and international music conferences, prepared countless K-12 professional development sessions, consulted for music programs and served as a clinician-in-residence for universities.

Lori is the author of the Tools for Educators series entitled "Key Changes: Refreshing Your Music Program" published for In Tune Monthly magazine where she provides resources to enhance the music classroom and rehearsal space. Lori also serves as a journalist for Teaching Music Magazine. With more than 60 published articles and interviews, Lori's work is featured each month as part of the National Association for Music Education’s Music in a Minuet blog and her publications frequently appear in The Woman Conductor journal as well as state music education association journals and newsletters. Lori designed her mentoring publications into a graduate course that she instructs through the University of the Arts.

Lori is a co-founder of Women Banding Together and serves as the Maryland state chair for Women Band Directors International.
