Art Education (MAT)

Andres Gonzalez is a graphic designer and educator with over 16 years of professional experience. As a graphic designer, Andres has worked on a variety of projects including branding, publication design, product and package design. Some of his most recognizable work to this day includes his toy package design for HotWheels, Nickelodeon, Disney and Pixar. He served as an executive board member of AIGA “The professional association for design” where he helped coordinate design related events and lectures.

As an art educator, Andres has taught traditional illustration/painting, comic book design, printmaking (silk screen), web design and graphic design. His student’s work has been featured in the National Constitution Center, the National Liberty Museum, the School District of Philadelphia’s exhibit hall, University of the Arts gallery, and local galleries throughout Philadelphia and the Chester County area. 

Andres is currently teaching Graphic Design and Web Design at Franklin Learning Center (FLC) where he has built an award-winning Graphic Design program. The most recent award was 1st place in the 2020 student poster competition. He is currently in his second year of building up a YouTube channel where he provides resources in the area of graphic design, art and technology.
