Your UArts Account
Your UArts Gmail Account & the UArts Portal
All students are issued login credentials to the UArts Student Portal, where your UArts Gmail account can be accessed. The UArts Student Portal is the University’s intranet and primary vehicle for communicating with students. Students are required to use University accounts for all enrollment processes, from registering for classes to managing your eAccounts.
Your Account Information
After submitting an enrollment deposit, students are provided a username and email address in a mailed packet. This information is also delivered electronically through the Applicant Status Portal.
Username: Upon enrolling, your username is shared with you along with the instructions on how to create your UArts account. If you did not receive these instructions, please contact Admissions at admissions@uarts.edu.
Email Address: This is your username plus @uarts.edu. Ex: The email address for “John Doe” could be “jdoe001@uarts.edu.”
Password: For first-time students, your password is your 6-digit birthday and the last 4 digits of your social security number (MMDDYYSSSS). International students without a social security number, use your 6-digit birthday plus “ssss” in lowercase.
Set Up Your UArts Account
- Set Up 2-Factor Authentication
On a desktop or laptop computer, log in to uarts.onelogin.com using the username and temporary password provided to you. Follow the prompts to set up 2-factor authentication for your new UArts account. Many authentication methods require a smartphone or tablet, so have yours close by.
- Change Your Password
While in OneLogin, click on your name at the top right. In the dropdown menu, click "Profile." Select "Change Password" on the left. Enter your temporary university-issued password as described above, then your new password. You only enter your new password once, so use the "Show" option to double-check the password you entered.

Access Your Email
After setting up 2-factor authentication in OneLogin, log in to the UArts Student Portal at portal.uarts.edu, using your newly set password. Access your UArts Gmail account by clicking on the “Google Workspace” link within the "Student Quick Links" card on the portal homepage. University communications will be sent to your UArts Gmail account.
