Robin Brewer has been teaching at UArts since 2016. With 20 years’ experience teaching art in public schools, she knows the importance of art education for all K–12 students.

Biography
Robin Brewer holds a BFA in Photography from University of Hawai’i and Art Education certification from Herron School of Art (Indianapolis). She also earned a Master of Education from Wilkes University (Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania) and an MFA from University of the Arts.

Experience

  • Specializing in photography, film, and animation, Brewer also teaches secondary art for the Garnet Valley School District (Glen Mills, Pennsylvania). 
  • Her personal work includes history-based images that pay homage to historical photographic processes.

  • Brewer has been honored with the 2013 Pennsylvania Art Education Association Secondary Art Educator of the Year award. 
  • She has also been recognized with a faculty award and the Richard and Patricia Henkels Award from University of the Arts.
