Niall Jones is a 2017 Bessie nominee for Outstanding Emerging Choreographer, works between dance, performance, and visual art practices exploring time and impermanence with an unruly fascination in affective environments, disorientation, seriality, and labor.

Niall has presented work at New York Live Arts, The Invisible Dog Art Center (New York), Gibney Dance Center (New York), Roulette (New York), Movement Research (New York), Danspace Project (New York), Abrons Art Center (New York), Dance Theater Workshop (New York), New York Live Arts (New York), Jack Art Center (New York), Dixon Place (New York), Chez Bushwick (New York), Center for Performance Research (New York), New Museum (New York) and at the Kitchen (New York). Niall was a Studio Series Artist in Residence at Dance Theater Workshop during the 2010-2011 season; a 2014-2015 New York Live Arts Fresh Tracks Residency recipient; and a 2016 Dance and Process Artist-in-Residence at the Kitchen.

Niall has worked as a performer and collaborator with Maria Hassabi, Ishmael Houston-Jones, Jennifer Monson, Yvonne Meier, Cynthia Oliver, Tere O’Connor, Vanessa Anspaugh, David Gordon, Emily Wexler, Walter Dundervil, Regina Rocke, Anne Imhof, Yve Laris Cohen, and Ryan McNamara.
