Mike Schnaidt is interested in editorial design across all platforms and has a strong love for typography. As a teacher, his mission is to help students find their unique voice in the art of visual storytelling.

Biography
Mike Schnaidt holds an MS in Communication Design from the Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, New York, and a BFA in Digital Art and Design from Long Island University, Brookville, New York. He got his start as a production artist at a small trade publication called Network Computing, where he was responsible for creating technical illustrations and infographics.

Experience
Schnaidt is currently creative director of Fast Company, overseeing visuals for the magazine, website, social media and events. Prior to that, he was creative director of Men’s Health and has been in top art director positions at Entertainment Weekly, Esquire and Popular Science.
