Jason Fifield has been an adjunct professor in UArts’ Jazz Studies program since 2014. 

Biography

Jason Fifield has been founder and COO of Slife Productions in Philadelphia since 2007. 

Experience

Fifield’s experience is vast and includes

  • owning and operating all aspects of his video production business, including client acquisition and long-term relationship development;

  • producing high-quality video deliverables for high-end clients such as Deloitte, Mercedes-Benz, PNC Bank, Temple University, Comcast, CBS Radio, and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital; 

  • producing and directing live and pre-recorded virtual and hybrid events and concerts, including large-scale conferences for pharmaceutical, corporate, education, and nonprofit clients;

  • project management and execution, including team management, contract negotiation, and accounting; and 

  • directing, managing, and developing crews, both in the studio and in the field.

Awards & Accolades

Fifield served as producer and director of Tarbaby: Fanon, which was named the 2013 Sort Form Jazz Video of the Year by the Jazz Journalists Association.
