Singer, actor and voice teacher, Elisa Matthews is a three-time Barrymore nominee. She has appeared on numerous Philadelphia stages including Arden Theatre, Walnut Street Theatre, People’s Light & Theatre, Bristol Riverside Theatre and Media Theatre. Recently she won a Best Actress Broadway World Award for the role of Francesca in The Bridges of Madison County.

Other favorite roles include Lily in The Secret Garden, Maria in The Sound of Music, Irene Molloy in Hello Dolly!, Guenevere in Camelot, Betty in Sunset Boulevard (Philadelphia Theatre Critic's and Broadway World award nominee), Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, Grace in Annie (featuring Wanda Sykes), Sharon in Masterclass (featuring Tony nominee Ann Crumb), Meg in Little Women, and Johanna in Sweeney Todd.

Elisa is also an active opera and concert soloist. Her opera roles include Susanna in The Marriage of Figaro, Zerlina in Don Giovanni, Papagena in The Magic Flute, Valencienne in The Merry Widow, Nella in Gianni Schicchi, Beth in Little Women and Kate Pinkerton in Madame Butterfly. On the concert stage, Elisa has made frequent appearances with The Philly Pops, The Ocean City Pops and Bristol Riverside Theatre's Music Fests as well as solo work with many symphonies and orchestras. She is a proud member of the Actor's Equity Association.
