David Graham has been teaching at UArts for 20 years. During that time, Graham has shared what he has learned as a professional photographer with his students, including editorial fields, commercial work and fine art.

Biography 
David Graham has been deeply involved in photography since his introduction to the field at Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania. Graham went on to transfer to the Philadelphia College of Art (now UArts), where he earned a BFA in Photography while studying under Ray K. Metzker. With the further assistance from Emmet Gowin, Graham entered Tyler School of Art, where he received an MFA.

Experience

  • Graham has had eight books of his photographs published, including Almost Paradise (Pond Press). 
  • His photographs are in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, NEw York City; the Art Institute of Chicago; and the Philadelphia Museum of Art, among other institutions.  
  • Graham is represented by the Laurence Miller Gallery in New York City, the PDNB Gallery in Dallas and the Etherton Gallery in Tucson. 
  • He has also been published in Details, Fortune, Forbes, GQ, Harper’s, The New York Times Magazine, Newsweek and Time.
