At UArts since 2020, Alessandra Fumagalli has taken her students on a journey of discovery that has expanded the boundaries of the world around them. As an educator who strongly believes in the connecting power of languages, Fumagalli aims to help students embrace new cultural perspectives, see the world through new lenses and develop openness to new ideas and ways of thinking. 

Biography 
Alessandra Fumagalli is a native of Milan, Italy, and has a passionate love for her country. She holds two master’s degrees from International University of Languages and Media in Milan and has a background in international corporate communications. Before joining UArts, Fumagalli taught undergraduate Italian courses at University of South Carolina in Columbia and Drexel University in Philadelphia.
