Desiring a career immersed in the arts, Sophie Shields attended the Tyler School of Art and Architecture to major in art therapy. She originates from Moorestown, New Jersey, loving being close to both the city and the beach. Her passions include portraiture, mental health, and playing guitar. Seeing so many students eager to showcase their potential and explore the Avenue of the Arts has been her favorite aspect of working for UArts. She recommends checking out South Street Art Mart for local inspiration.
