Nick Embree (Set Designer)(he/him) has designed sets for over 150 productions in Philadelphia and the region, and more than 20 for UArts – most recently, THINGS LEFT UNWRITTEN in Fall 2023 and HORSE GIRLS and HOT / COLD SHOWER in Spring 2023. Nick teaches a range of design courses for the Theater Design-Tech and Film Design programs at UArts and has been a full-time faculty member at the University since 2004. Nick is currently working on the set design for a new touring ballet for the Nashville Ballet, opening in October 2024. He is a member of the professional theater designers’ union, USA Local 829.

Jeannette Christensen (Costume Designer) is a Baltimore based designer. She has most notably designed costumes for the Broadway national tour of On Your Feet! The Story of Emilio and Gloria Estefan 2022-2024 and the world premier in Spanish with Gala Hispanic Theater in DC (Helen Hayes win - Outstanding Costume Design 2022). She also designed the world premiers and national tours of Don't let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! (2019) and Show Way (2024) with the Kennedy Center among other new musicals with KCTYA. She has designed regionally for American Players Theater WI, Oklahoma City Rep, Pennsylvania Shakespeare Theatre Festival, Folger Theater DC, American Stage FL and Olney Theater Center MD to name a few. She has been an associate designer with The Muny MO, Roundhouse Theatre MD, Wolf Trap Opera VA, and Studio Theater DC. She has worked as a costume designer/mentor with Arizona State University, University of Maryland, Bowie State University, American University, George Washington University and now Uarts. Education: BA in Design & Production from Arizona State University, MFA in Design from the University of Maryland, MPS in the Business of Art & Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art (Graduating Sept. 2024). About: After losing her lover in a fatal car crash, someone (else) follows a woman’s journey through her grieving process and her healing. We travel through the memories, good and bad, to find healing at the end. someone (else) captures the imperfect nature of grief and the importance of learning to forgive oneself.
