The music and creative industry is built on resilience and passion. If you are ready to be the best you, connect the dots and find new ways to think about old topics, this is where you want to start.

Scarlet Estelle Hernandez is the proud director of member success at REC Philly, an incubator for creative entrepreneurs. With a focus on artist development, Scarlet moonlights as the music manager for Philadelphia Soul/R&B artist and fellow UArts alum Max Swan BM '11.

Working in multiple capacities within the music industry since the of age 15, Scarlet has been affiliated with global production companies such as AEG Live and Live Nation. During this time, Scarlet freelanced as everything from booking to merchandise sales, marketing, hospitality and more. This real-world training positioned Scarlet to accept a full-time role as director of member success at REC Philly where she uses her past experiences and continuous learning to support over 900 creatives on their journey.

Today, Scarlet's full-time career is in the arts where she often guest lectures at surrounding universities on topics such as the creative economy, pursuing creative entrepreneurship and social media. When not answering an email or call, Scarlet can be found in a dimly lit karaoke bar or concert.
