Sanniyah Antoinette Bey

Studying at UArts as a MBET major helped me gain the knowledge to chase after my dream as a solo artist. I now have over 8.5k streams on my first ever song I release in July, and I have my amazing professors to thank.

My name is Sanniyah Antoinette Bey. I’m twenty-one years old and live in Philadelphia, PA. I’m a senior at the University of the Arts as a Music Business, Entrepreneurship & Technology (MBET) major. Growing up, I always knew music and modeling would be in my life forever and I’m so glad that I chose UArts as my creative outlet. Throughout my years at UArts, I absorbed information like a sponge. Whether it was how to market myself online to grow a fan base, how to produce and engineer my own tracks or simply how keep an organized schedule, the education I’ve received helped me gain popularity in the public eye. I now work with clothing brands such as Disturbia, Hot Topic, iHeartRaves, KILLSTAR, Lounge Underwear and more. As much as I love being in front of cameras, I also love being the person behind one. I was given the opportunity to photograph all of the MBET events showcased in the Laurie Wagman Presents series. Photographing concerts has been one of my hobbies ever since I was young, and when I was given that opportunity to expand my creative knowledge I knew UArts was the right school for me.
