Pig Iron Theatre Company—UArts’ partner in its Devised Performance MFA and certificate programs—is now offering virtual workshops, using Zoom as a means of connecting restless creators from around the world through classes led by internationally acclaimed artists.
The spring 2021 workshop series is called Reboot Yourself. Each workshop is approximately 12 to 15 hours of class time, and class size is limited to 10 to 15 students.
The workshops are meant to give students a new vocabulary to make their own work, share Pig Iron’s artistic obsessions with hungry theater-makers and create virtual ensembles of artists who want to reach new frontiers.
