Marcella Schneider is a 17-year-old choreographer, dancer, singer and artist. She’s studied tap since she was six years old and experimented in different disciplines such as musical theater dance and ballet. She has choreographed numbers for the high school production of Sister Act and is currently working on choreography for Legally Blonde and 42nd Street. Most of her inspiration comes from the senses, with sounds and colors, visualizing them coming to life. Throughout her entire high school career, she’s been in competitive show choir and has traveled around her home state of Wisconsin. She was originally aspiring to be a musical theater major but recently, she has taken interest in choreography as a career. While training under Corrie Buela Kovacs and Kathleen McCurdy, she’s learned to create, to not copy and learned that “loud mistakes are better than timid perfection.”
