Sculpture (BFA in Fine Arts)

Do the things you love and your practice will flourish. Enjoy the little things.

Pap Souleye Fall is a Senegalese-American artist who lives and works in Dakar, Senegal. He graduated with honors from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia with a degree in Interdisciplinary Fine Arts with a concentration in Sculpture. After a residency at Waaw in 2017, he participated in the Dak’Art Biennale twice. He is currently working on an African manga called OBLIVION ROUGE. He was just accepted into the Yale sculpture program and will begin in fall of 2020. His work deals with identity, suspended disbelief and utopian/dystopian ideas on community.

He grew up watching anime and reading mangas like Dragonball, Hunterxhunter, Berserk and Akira. His love for storytelling and visual art lead him to create a story of his own. OBLIVION ROUGE was born out of a nightmare and has developed into a whole universe over the course of two years.
