Occupying the 16th and 17th floors of the University's Terra Hall, the Caplan Center is located on the corner of South Broad and Walnut Streets.

With a skyline view, Avenue of the Arts address and visionary design, the Caplan Center for the Performing Arts at the University of the Arts is a sought-after destination in Philadelphia. Opened in September 2008, the $7 million, 22,000-square-foot performing arts venue features a 140-seat recital hall, a 100-seat black box theater, green room and dressing room space and state-of-the-art recording equipment. In addition, the Caplan Center houses classrooms and creative learning spaces for students in the University’s Ira Brind School of Theater Arts as well as the School of Music.
