Johnny Hurley
Johnny Hurley (he/him) in his role as Director for Residence Life & Housing oversees the portfolio of residential learning and housing at UArts. He provides guidance for the staff members that hire, train, and supervise our residential assistant and community assistants, and ensures all students' meal plan needs are met.
Johnny is originally from Cape Cod in Massachusetts and has over 15 years of experience in Residence Life. He received his Bachelors in Communications with a Film/TV production concentration from Framingham State University. He went on to receive a Masters in College Student Development & Counseling from Northeastern University.
Outside of UArts, Johnny is a part of the Philly Improv comedy community and regularly performs around the city with his team. He also enjoys gaming, traveling around the world and taking care of his lovely cats Buck & Oscar with his partner.
