Can Wang (pronounced “Tsan Whang”) is a dance artist who performs, creates and collaborates. She is of Chinese origin and influenced by both contemporary and classical dance, and Western and Eastern culture. She was a company dancer at Buglisi Dance Theater, and an alumnae of The Juilliard School (2019’). She has performed works by Martha Graham, Merce Cunningham, Jose Limon, Nacho Duato, Stephanie Batten-Bland, Roy Assaf, Andrea Miller, Helen Simoneau, Katarzyna Skarpetowska among others, and has collaborated with internationally acclaimed theatre and visual artists. Her own choreographic works have been performed in the United States, China and South Korea. She is a prizewinner in 2012 Chinese Lotus Dance Competition and has toured with the National Ballet of China.
