Sabrina Rahman hails from central New Jersey. She has been traveling worldwide performing, training and learning various forms of cultural dances. She has competed in several ballroom competitions and has performed partner and traditional forms of dance internationally as well. She had been creating choreography that combines her knowledge of partner dance, various cultural and folk dances and modern dance to create pieces that encourage embracing cultures and addressing social issues. Her travels and experiences in dance has encouraged her to take this next big step in her dance journey with the University of arts to help her get a better understanding of her own story through dance as well as telling the stories of others.
